Principle 3: Love yourself
So I started taking a lot of selfies towards the end of 2023.
The Major reason for that is to start loving myself rather than telling myself that I hate my body or criticizing how I look.
The hair, skin complexion, musculature, belly fat…..
I have been losing hair since I moved to the ‘Big city’. Even if I blame the pressures of work or the unhealthy polluted city atmosphere deep down this genetic reason behind it. Eventually, I will lose all of my hair. I could delay the process by tackling the additional causes which increases its pace.
Eventually, I signed a peace in accordance with it. Now I am Happy. I can control it through stress relief and the blessing of the sun God!
The next thing is my body, I have an average Indian male body, Not too fat or not too lean. Though I aspire to have a Greek god-like musculature, I might be able to. Since I was working towards some other goals and my mental peace took a toll last year I wasn't able to catch up with my previously set goals.
I know I have to prioritize my health and this is a bunch of bullshit excuses. I am well aware of the fact that going to the gym/running every day can boost your mode. But yeah I was skipping it. It's a loop.
Anyway, Life has been pretty eventful.
I am working 4 Jobs simultaneously to build a better career and I am not sure when I could hold on to this ‘Hustle habit’.
Let my body decide.
That is why I started Taking pictures of my face. In the new office of my company, the settings are damn perfect. Once I finish the Jobs assigned to me by myself, I just spend 10 minutes taking my pictures. I was a guy who was afraid to post selfies on the internet. But when I started doing it, I started feeling a bit confident about my body no matter what the other person said.
Recently I saw in an Instagram reel that some psychologists suggested prioritizing skincare routine to improve your mental health. Feeling good about your body will make you much happier and calmer.
Principle 3: Fall in love with yourself
