Micro Guide To Be Rich
One of the most common encounters of every virtually shopping person was, we encounter a quality product, it is priced beyond our budget and because of too much temptation, we put that item in our wishlist with a hope of buying it one day we could afford it. the day we become rich.
Yes, becoming rich! what does that mean? the definition of rich varies with each and every person. for a billionaire, it's becoming the top 10 richest in the world. for a normal blue-collar worker, it is the day we become he/she retire(retire in the sense that, they don't have to work anymore to earn).for a slum dweller its a piece of land and house on his name.
for the majority becoming rich means independence. the freedom to whatever we want to do without any regret of spending. in the capitalist system prevailing in this world, where the slave- master kind of relationship exists the normal employee who rigorously works to meet the ends, is it possible for him/her to spend without any regret?
Being rich is a mentality. If you look down to the ladder and see the people under you, we feel rich. first of all, money doesn't define the rich. In Naval Ravikant’s words ‘money doesn't cure all of your problems, but money can cure all your money problems’.
money is inert lifeless dead meat. if we focus on our poverty, we will be strangled by the long hands of it and never escape from the deep pit. instead of that nurturing a rich mentality and behave as one will help us to grow faster.
then there comes wealth and assets. wealth is what we acquire throughout life. experiences, relationships, happiness, living conditions, and of course money. Imagine all of us are equally rich as Elon Musk, then who will work their daily job?. in that ‘ideal’ scenario, only the ones who want to work for self-satisfaction, like musicians, artists, painters, and writers.
the basic nature of human beings is lazy. we love to stay in bed a little longer and wish somebody take care of us. we wish to get food on our table without effort. if money is not a defining factor many want to circumnavigate the globe.
here is a simple plan to any of the one who started career just now. never go on to the pit. the asset is what works for you, the entity which puts money in your pocket. so build as many as assets where the revenue generated from your assets is enough to live a luxury life. never spend the whole amount quoted on your monthly paycheck for your luxury. Many of us, still couldn't define between an asset and a liability. (from rich dad poor dad, Robert Kiyosaki).
to lead a life of a rich, think like one, act like one, and enjoy like one. Never let money rule you, rule the money.
