When we ideate our thoughts? What is the scope of learning till the end? Why we won't think like world-class scientists or entrepreneurs?

Why our thinking lacks the proper conviction? does the existing school system engage us effectively? Is it enough for the new world order?

What do we learn for the future?

the big question echoing in the air for more than a year is the ‘celebrity crocodile tears’ regarding the usefulness of what we learn in schools?

Yes, exactly! The White Hat Jr. acquisition by Byjus. Since then celebrities started “worrying” about our children. Anyway, that's not the point I am talking about. But the question is relevant even though they just making FOMO(Fear Of Missing Out).

There was a new policy announcement on education that has been celebrated y the sect in the country. Many started criticizing it too.

Lemme share some thoughts (Actually these are Naval Ravikant’s thoughts) which I found meaningful.

the current system of schooling was established when books were scarce. so teachers were encyclopedias and school was a sacred place. Now we doubt the system altogether.

I have studied in a government school. Fully owned by the government so the teachers were permanent but irregular. At least 3/4 guest lecturers we had every year. Not complaining about that. One of the major flaws of the teaching system was exposed when the online classes started. a considerable amount of teachers are not adequate to teach children. They might have excellent records in their studies. But they are not enough. I really had a number of teachers, who don't know how to express the idea. If you are smart, you should be able to express complex ideas in simple words. That's the basic necessity in teaching. That one quality lacking in a lot of teachers. This was the one big issue. In offline teaching, there was no opportunity to judge. children just sit there and think that teachers are gods and even if they don't understand anything, they just stand up and say ‘Thank You Teacher’ at the end!

But when the classes went online, the public especially parents got an opportunity to identify the problem. But they are government employees. They just stuck in the service till the end.

I have been to a college hostel for two years. We had a mess(Canteen). So in the first year, the mess was run by the people from outside. they have been running the system for 4/5 years on a contract basis. each year they have renewed the agreement. but in the second year, government-appointed permanent employees in their positions. Since then the hostel food started becoming really bad. We could not complain like the earlier times. If we were unsatisfied with the food, we could complain and even change the people who run the mess. But now, the food is worse than ever and we are totally ended up in a hole. Even if we complain, they won't be replaced. It was like our hands are tied. We just started thinking about alternate options. But for a student paying for this, this was unacceptable also a situation where we are muted!

The system is changed. Our schools are becoming temples of learning. But the teachers won’t. Once the teachers are recruited, they just take this for granted. Even if they don’t teach well, they will get paid. The quality is missing.

We should start thinking of a system where students can learn from any teacher of his/her will. Then they could make peer groups, discussion forums and while keeping the existing bases. Teachers just become the guides to point out the resources and clear doubts. A centralized system.

It is possible because of the digital revolution we are witnessing. If one teacher of a subject is not able to fulfill the quest for knowledge, the student must have an opportunity to learn from the best teacher in the same subject, around the world to be the master of that subject. It's like we are going to a supermarket where these vegetables are already packed and sold. Once we pick a bag, we are not able to change the spoiled vegetable inside it. So for convenience, we should able to cherry-pick the good ones from each basket. Our system will be improved. Imagine A student in India is learning maths from a teacher in China, English from a teacher in the UK, physics from a teacher in Italy. These kinds of revolutions are possible.

So Joining a particular school should not be a burden on children. The teachers from every corner of the world should work in unison. We can create the system if we try wholeheartedly.

Thus, our children become super intelligent and creative in their respective fields. Some become polymaths. Let's crush the existing outdated systems. Let's THINK OF A NEW WORLD ORDER FOR EDUCATION!
