Essential Tools For Success

It was in the month of April 2019. After a month-long wait, I am appearing for the driving test for the first time in my life. I woke up early reached the driving school, where two of my driving schoolmates and the instructor were waiting. The testing center is almost one and a half hour journey. throughout the journey, only one thing bothered me. Usually, in these short time journeys, My mind fluctuates between the common human dilemmas and worries about the future and life. But this time was different. I was confident about my ability to drive a car, even though on the previous day I messed it up completely. From the eyes of my instructor, it's so evident that he has no confidence in me. But I was so excited about getting the license. the only barrier was, I never touched the bike to take ‘8’. as of many of you know, In India to obtain a two-wheeler license we have to ‘draw’ 8 using the two-wheeler. Basically, it is riding the bike around several poles in the ground without touching any.

till that moment I never able to do that. like many of the driving schools around here, the M80(Bike) available in the school is no longer working. but somehow magically the one in our institute worked properly for my two ‘batchmates’. they already did it for 7/8 times. When started the bike, it went to hibernation. and whatever tricks our instructor and the mechanic in the nearby shop did he never woke up. So Great first touch Man!

we reached the testing ground around 7.00. our instructor talked to a local instructor and he agreed to lend his bike for practicing for all three. This time I was the one who touched the bike for the first time. Unlike the one back in our institute, this M80 never goes off. in fact, no bikes in the testing ground went off. all of them were working infinitely?

anyway, I tried around 20 times and ended up collecting 30 poles. Wow! you are going to get the license, man!

I was mentally prepared to come for the next time. but anyway I am here, at least try your luck. the next moment everyone formed a queue on the basis of driving schools. I was the second of our institute.

while standing in the line for half an hour I noticed that I was not focusing on what happening out there. I was hallucinating?

I closed my eyes for a while, visualizing the obstacles in the ground. each pole was extremely accurately pointed in my mind. I said You Can. A little pep talk from inside.

I handed over the bike. I never looked back into the crowd or vehicle inspectors. I was hallucinating while driving the bike. The next moment was a deep silence. Another lady was ready for her test.

I won! I successfully completed my practical exam without any mistakes! what?

I was asking again and again to my instructor that ‘did I do it or not’.

That was such a moment.

I have finished the 4 wheeler test and road test for both and obtained the license in my first attempt.

on the journey back, I was so proud of myself but I was in deep thought. what actually happened back there?

Thus today I am briefing the power of Visualization. Actually, for the entire month, I was visualizing and dreaming about the test. Especially the two-wheeler test. Even in my dreams, I was imagining myself punching in the air after successfully finishing the exam. This was the only reason I got in my first attempt. I was constantly visualizing.

the power of visualization was discussed by ancient to modern philosophers. whenever you want to achieve a thing, make a proper timeline and imagine the moments of victory, Joy, and happiness. the constant desire for success and intense visualization will find a way to reach there.

the technique is not a complicated one. Just sit down in a calmer place. close your eyes. Be realistic about your timeline. visualize the deep desire. It will happen if the intensity is too real. the point is, it should be realistic. I am not talking about getting rich or finding a celebrity partner. Yes, It is possible to be rich using technique. But the related actions should be done from your side. If you read Think and Grow Rich by Napolean Hill, you will come across lots of examples where people used visualization techniques to become successful.

If you are a teacher and you want your students to be attentive in the class, visualize it. visualize they are smiling back to you, staying quiet, being active in the discussions, thanking you for a wonderful class, getting a teacher's day card from every one of them without any instructions.

But Being realistic I mean, Never think of being insanely rich in the next day or week or month. Overnight success is a myth!

But it has the other side too. If you are visualizing a thing negatively, the thing is going to happen.

So all I have to say is Be happy, Stay healthy inside and outside, and spread love.
